ABOUT the Bournés
The Bourné Family is a music group including five sisters, three brothers, and their mother. This family of singers, songwriters, instrumentalists, dancers, artists, designers, speakers, activists, writers and educators have been performing together as a family for many years all over Chicagoland and the Midwest.
Growing up, music was always a part of the house and in the early years they performed as soloists, duos, trios and quartets. But as each sibling grew up and joined the family band, they finally decided to take the full family show on the road. Their signature sound of soothing melodies and warm harmonies has captivated audiences for more than 10 years.
Multi-talented as music artists, dancers, visual artists, writers, producers, designers, speakers and educators as well, they hope to reach all who hear them with their message of love and the importance of family. The Bournés are natives of Chicago, currently residing in a nearby south suburb.
Previous venues include the Auditorium Theatre’s main stage and Katten-Landau Studio at Roosevelt University, the Harris Theater, Navy Pier, Chicago Cultural Center, Victory Gardens Theater, the Beverly Arts Center, in addition to appearances on Good Day Chicago and Windy City Live, and numerous other conferences, rallies, community events and fundraisers.
